About Us

VIP Pet Care in Regina, Saskatchewan has been a kennel since 2000. In October of 2006 new owners took over the kennel and since then business has flourished. With a few changes, including adding daycare service, many renovations and the addition of more kennels and multiple separate play areas, we feel VIP Pet Care will continue to grow and expand and only become better with each passing year. Our dedication helps make each dog’s stay at our kennel more comfortable, enjoyable and unique.

What is a Social Kennel?

AkitaWe can help introduce your pet to social behaviour. We strongly believe in exercising your pet’s body and mind. Dogs are pack animals and enjoy the company of other dogs. VIP Pet Care is a social kennel: that means we put boarding and daycare dogs together into social groups for play, exercise, and activity. However, if you prefer, we will keep your pet separate from other pets and they will get their own exercise time. Our staff is experienced with picking out social groups and where your pet fits in.

Reminder: In a social atmosphere your dog will come in contact with various viruses and parasites. It is very important to keep your dog up-to-date with annual vaccinations. It is also VERY important to have your dog on monthly lice, tick and flea treatments! Keeping up with your annual vet visits will keep your pet happy and healthy.

At VIP Pet Care we want to make sure there are enough hands to ensure the quality of each dog's stay. Due to the popularity of our daycare services and the size of the facility we employ 35 staff members. This is to ensure each pet receives the quality of care we like to provide each and every day.

Laura - I have been with VIP Pet Care since 2007 and have loved watching the company grow. I truly enjoy helping animal lovers around Regina spoil their pooch with friends and social activity! Along my journey I have completed my university education, my animal first aid and have also gotten a few lessons in dog behaviour along the way.

Shayna - After dreaming of working with dogs for many years, I finally got the chance when I started at VIP Pet Care in November of 2008. I have never looked back. With seven dogs of my own, and having been involved in flyball, agility, obedience training, confirmation, Rally-O, disc, stockwork, retriever training and more, I am more than a little addicted to dogs!

Adam - I started working at VIP in March 2010. I've always had pets growing up, but my current dog Trinity is my best bud! The only way I can describe her breed is a bear wolf cross, aka: my "little" teddy bear.

Katie - When I moved here from B.C. I didn't know what I was in for with Saskatchewan winters! I had worked in K9 facilities in B.C. prior to coming to Regina and starting at VIP in November 2011. I took a year off to try my hand in the office, but I missed the dogs and fun days too much!

Meagan - I started at VIP in May 2010 as a part-time job while I was in high school. Being around the dogs makes me happy and keeps me busy full time when I am not with my niece and family!

Elysa - I love animals! I have a collection of critters at home and adopted a new collection of K9 pals at VIP when I started in July 2011.

Alexis - I always had dogs around growing up. My current pup Ryder is my BFF and I cant imagine my life with out him! Since starting at VIP in February 2012 I have gained so many more furry friends!

Alysha - Since returning to VIP in October 2014 after being away for nearly 2 years, I realized how much I missed my K9 pals. Not being able to have my own pups, I make a habit of borrowing everyone else's for the day!

Emily - I started working at VIP in August of 2013. I love being around dogs especially the crazy ones! I finally got my own puppy, Nala who was born at VIP, and she loves being here as much as I do.

Kaitlin P. - I started working at VIP in the summer of 2013. This job has been the best throughout the years and I have loved every day of it! Being able to bring my own fur-best friend, Penny the Westie, has been an amazing bonus. We both love all the people and dog clients.

Natahsa - I have worked at VIP since the beginning of 2014. I love being with the dogs and am going to miss being here ever day when school starts. I was able to adopt my own pup, Laurel, from the Regina Humane Society last year and she has become my best friend!

Alexa - I started at VIP in July 2014. Working here allows me to have my daily "puppy fix" as I am unable to have dogs of my own! Since I can't have a dog of my own I have a bearded dragon named Ruby.

What's New

Remember to keep your pet up-to-date with regular shots, de-worming, and monthly flea, tick and lice treatments!

VIP Pet Care is a proud carrier of Sojo's and Natural Planet! We carry multiple varieties to help suite your dogs' needs and tastes! If we don't have what you need, we may be able to order it in for you! Please ask.

At VIP Pet Care we feel that safety is very important and thus it is mandatory for all dogs at VIP to wear the keepsafe collar! The keepsafe collar is fully functional for everyday use, but has a safety release clasp to avoid accidental strangulation. The safety release clasp will snap off if your dog's collar ever becomes entangled on anything, including trees, bushes, heating vents, or another dog. Due to the social environment we feel that it is for the best for everyone to be wearing the keepsafe collars. We have red collars available for purchase for daycare dogs and have our own blue and black keepsake collars for kennel use/boarding dogs. For more information please check out

Renos! We are always striving to make VIP better and have multiple renovations planned for this fall and winter both inside and outside!
